Chain HQ
What it's for
Chain HQ is the head office for a multi-outlet business. From one console you see every outlet's numbers together, switch into any location, add outlets, invite regional managers, and push a common menu, roles, and settings to all of them.
Chain HQ is an Enterprise (multi-outlet) feature. If it's locked, you'll see an upgrade prompt. If you run a single restaurant, you'll see Create Chain to turn it into your first outlet.
Where to find it
- Web
- iOS
- Android
Choose Chain HQ in the sidebar (route /chain-hq).
Open Chain HQ from the app.
Open Chain HQ from the app.
The header shows your organisation, your role (Chain Owner, Regional Manager, Finance, or Viewer), and how many of your allowed outlets are in use. Tabs across the top: Overview, Reports, Inventory, Workforce, Audit, Credit Notes, and (for owners) Customers, Menu, Roles, and Settings.

Outlets & team (Overview)
- Outlets — each outlet is a card; choose Enter outlet to switch into it and work in its dashboard. Owners can add one with the New outlet name field and Add outlet (tick Copy menu from your first outlet to start it stocked). At your plan's limit you're prompted to add capacity or upgrade.
- Team — invite head-office members as Regional Manager, Finance, or Viewer with Invite, then Copy invite link to send it.
Consolidated reports
The Reports tab rolls everything up across outlets: Total revenue, Bills, Orders, and Avg bill, plus an Outlet leaderboard and Top items chain-wide, for a chosen date range. Other tabs give a cross-outlet view too: Inventory (a restock radar of what's low across the chain), Workforce (headcount per outlet), Audit (recent actions everywhere), and Customers (each guest unified by phone, with spend and loyalty rolled up from every outlet).
Push a central menu
On the Menu tab (owners), "author menu items once, then push them to every outlet." Add an item, then choose Push to outlets — it's created across the chain. Outlets that have set their own local price keep it on future pushes.
Standardise roles & settings
- Roles — set what each role can do chain-wide, then Save & apply to all outlets.
- Settings — a settings template (service charge, receipt layout and footer) you Save & apply to all outlets. Currency, tax, and country stay per-outlet and are never overwritten.
- Credit Notes — the chain credit-note dashboard for approvals across every outlet.
Worked example
Open a second location. In Chain HQ, type the outlet's name, tick Copy menu from your first outlet, and choose Add outlet — it starts with your menu. Author a new dish on the Menu tab and Push to outlets so both locations get it. Check the Reports tab's Outlet leaderboard to compare how they're doing.
Tips & things to watch
- ✅ Copy the menu when adding an outlet so it's ready to trade immediately.
- ✅ Use Save & apply to all outlets for roles and settings to keep the chain consistent.
- ⚠️ Local prices are respected — pushing the menu won't overwrite an outlet's own price.
- ⚠️ Currency and tax stay per-outlet — settings templates never change them.
